This Spanish Medium Review quiz will present you with some word trivia. In other words, a smorgasbord of words. At least by making it to this quiz, which is the fourth and last quiz in the smorgasbord of words quiz series, you are seeing the end in sight! Well, that is for now as you still have a long way to go towards learning Spanish and, hopefully, one day even becoming fluent in Spanish.

As you have been hopefully following along with this mini-subseries of smorgasbord quizzes, you should be well versed in how they work. Each one has been designed to help pull out information stored in your head as to Spanish vocabulary words, spelling, gender, conjugation and even a few rules here and there. There’s a lot of information hidden in that brain of yours.

By looking at the answers to this sentence you can tell that you need to find the opposite word for sad. The opposite of sad is happy. The Spanish word for happy is feliz.

For this problem you are required to find the negative form and translation of the sentence. Remember that a command is being given and when a command is given, the base form of the verb is used. In order to translate this sentence correctly, you need to know the Spanish verb for call. That word is llamar. The correct negative translation is: No llamar el hospital.

Remember that in Spanish when using either the question mark or the exclamation point, there must be a mark at the beginning of the sentence and at the end of the sentence. The beginning mark is upside down. The second and third answers only contain one punctuation mark at the end of the sentence making them grammatically incorrect. Next, you need to know the word for smile. The Spanish word for smile is sonrisa. This means that the correct translation is: ¡Ella tiene una bonita sonrisa!
