The Bahá’ís and the United Nations Organisation

“The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens”, taught Bahá'u'lláh. In this vein Bahá’ís have always been strong supporters of global collaborative activities, particularly the League of Nations and the UNO. The Bahá’í International Community was granted consultative status with the League in the 1930s and with the UNO from the 1940s.
