Grade 2 - Time Signatures

Time signatures tell us about beats.

In grade one you have already been introduced to some of the time signatures (2, 3 and 4 crotchets in a bar) and in grade two you will be expected to know a few different ones which have varied grouping patterns. Remember that the top number is the number of beats in a bar and the bottom number is the type of beat.
