This Spanish Medium Review quiz will welcome you to the next round of Spanish by first doing a quick review Spanish Easy. It might seem that there is no end to learning new Spanish vocabulary words and the truth is, there isn’t an end just as there isn’t an end to learning new English words.
It seems that when you are learning a whole new language that the volume of what you need to learn is massive and overwhelming. Remember, though, when you learn your native language, you have a good full year and more of just listening to people speak it. After a while your mind starts to relate sounds to objects. Later you learn that those sounds are words.
By two to three years of age you have amassed quite a large vocabulary of your native tongue. It didn’t appear to be massive or overwhelming to you then. That’s because you learned it step by step, piece by piece and not all at once.
That piece by piece learning process continued on through pre-school, then elementary school, on to middle school, on to high-school and still on through college. Learning anything, including a new language, is a journey through time. So, although you may sometimes feel overwhelmed, step back a bit and take a breath. Understand that you are on a journey. A journey you can take at your own pace. A journey that can be quite fun to travel! This Spanish Medium Review quiz section is just a stop along the way on your journey towards learning to speak, read and write in a new language.
In the Spanish Easy Review quiz section, one of the tools used to help you to learn how to say a new Spanish word was to provide you with the word’s phonetic pronunciation. Here, in Spanish Medium Review, you will no longer see the phonetic pronunciation on a regular basis (although it will be shown from time to time). This is because at this point, you should have a good grasp of understanding as to the sounds of the Spanish letters. However, you will need to continue to study each word carefully and see how it is spelled, whether it is masculine or feminine word and whether there are any accent marks.
