Vocabulary - The Second 25 U.S. States

This Spanish Difficult Review quiz you will introduce you to the Spanish names of the remaining twenty-five U.S. states. It is the continuation of the Spanish Difficult Review quiz titled Vocabulary: The First 25 U.S. States. As you learned in that quiz, most of the states will be spelled exactly the same way in both English and in Spanish although at times there will be a slight difference in their pronunciations.

Although you may wonder why you need to go over the state names as they are so similar, in fact, most are exactly the same, the purpose is to get you used to hearing the sounds of the state names using a slight Spanish accent and/or pronunciation. Learning a new language is all about training the brain to recognize not only words but sounds and sites in that new language. Therefore, this quiz, its sister quiz and the country quizzes will each help you in training your brain’s recognition. Now, let’s look at the second set of 25 U.S. states.
