Reading Comprehension: I Can Read Spanish!  (Quiz 5)

This Spanish Difficult Review quiz is the final quiz in a series of five that challenges you on your reading comprehension ability. To have made it this far in the three levels of Spanish review quizzes is an amazing feat! You should be very proud of yourself.

As you may recall from the first quiz in the series, the challenge of the entire series was to test you and stretch your ability to be able to comprehend quickly in Spanish. That means being able to think in Spanish.

This reads as: Talbot stood still as the Captain Efferton read the papers… Leyó los papeles means read the papers.

The question asks: What did the captain do with the papers? The paragraphs tell us that: Cuando él acabó leyendo, Efferton metió los papeles abajo. This reads as: When he finished reading, Efferton put the papers down. Metió los papeles abajo means put the papers down.
