Sometimes, students need to change a sentence because it enhances the meaning. Some sentences need to be expanded because they are too simple. Others should be reduced because they contain too many details that do not affect the meaning of the sentence. Finally, two sentences can be combined so the text won’t sound choppy when read aloud. In this quiz, the students will determine what should happen to the sentences as well as determine which sentence is written the best.
