Students use context clues to determine the meanings of unknown words. However, they also need to be able to pronounce the words. To do this, they will need to use their knowledge of letter-sounds. They can also use patterns of syllables and their knowledge of roots and affixes. In this quiz, the students will identify a picture and the word associated with that picture. Also, the students will choose the definition of the word.
