Grade 3 Language - Shades of Meaning

It requires practice of using these words that have different shades of meaning in order to fully distinguish the differences. Sometimes, the students use their background knowledge to distinguish between the different shades of meaning. Usually, students will think back to when they have heard those words. In this quiz, the students will read sentences and determine the exact meaning of certain words and choose the words that best fits into the sentences.
