This quiz on Graphemes helps elementary school children learning English and Literacy recognize two letter vowel sound groups. A grapheme is a symbol that identifies a certain sound/phoneme. Certain sounds fit within the same group. This quiz will help children identify which sounds should be grouped together.

Sometimes, two letters together make a sound - these sounds can often be grouped. This means there are two letters, like 'oy' that make that sound. There is also 'oi' which involves two different letters but it makes the same sound. Sounds like these are called graphemes.
