This is the first of 7 11-Plus Non-Verbal Reasoning quizzes on Shapes and Letters. It might seem a bit strange at first but you'll soon get the hang of it.
The figures in the boxes on the left hand side of the page have characteristics that have been given letters. A letter might refer to shape, outline, colour or shading or orientation. Some of the shapes have two letters, relating to two characteristics, and some have three letters, relating to three characteristics. Using this information you can find the code for the shape in the box on the right.
There is a detailed explanation of how the questions work in the example question and answer. You can refer back to this anytime you get stuck. Take your time and think carefully about each question before you choose your answer.
