Year 1 Measurements - Length and Height

This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 5 and 6 in year 1. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with comparing, describing and solving practical problems for length and height.

When solving problems which involve comparing lengths and heights, it is important in the first instance to be able to recognise which one is longest or tallest and which is shortest. This ability can then be extended to solving problems to do with recognising longer, taller and shorter lengths within a set and being able to order them correctly in order of length or height.
